DMS Standard Operating Procedure: Sales Operations in DMS

Purpose:
To establish guidelines for the use of the DMS for the Sales team.
Definitions:
- DMS: Data Management System.
Procedures:
The Sales Representatives have access to the DMS to view jobs, past and present. They can view this progress from the Dashboard. Sales Representatives can view Assigned Tasks, Scheduled to File, Billing Review, and Invoicing from the Dashboard.
On the Assigned tasks and Dashboard level, Sales Representatives will only see emails with their identified clients and contacts.
When the Sales Representative views the list of jobs, they will only be able to view jobs they are assigned to. They are not able to turn this filter off.
Permissions:
The following items are granted permissions for the Sales team.
Dashboard
- View Schedule to File
- View Pending Billing Review
- View Pending Invoicing – Sales Representatives will receive a copy of the invoice before it is sent to the client.
Org Chart
- View Org Chart – once fully functional, the Org Chart will be useful for Sales Representatives to see which team is working on what, and who is leading the team.
